Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Grafting Technician to join our nursery operations team. This role is vital for ensuring high graft success rates, consistent plant quality, and timely readiness for dispatch. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in fruit crop grafting and nursery management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vegetative grafting techniques, including wedge, veneer, cleft, approach, and softwood grafting as needed
• Select, prepare, and manage rootstocks and scion materials
• Ensure high graft success through proper techniques, hygiene, and care protocols
• Oversee post-grafting care, including managing healing environments, humidity, shade, and irrigation
• Monitor grafted plants for stress, diseases, or compatibility issues
• Maintain accurate records for labeling, tagging, and batch tracking
• Support nursery processes, including plant hardening and readiness for dispatch
• Adhere to nursery SOPs for plant quality, sanitation, and safety
• Coordinate daily grafting targets and production schedules with nursery supervisors
