We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the servicing, repair, and overall condition of all company vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support Ubuntu Movers’ transport and logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily vehicle maintenance and repair operations across the fleet.
• Plan and schedule routine servicing and inspections to reduce breakdowns and disruptions.
• Allocate duties to mechanics and technicians while ensuring work is completed to high standards and on time.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance work, repairs, and service timelines.
• Ensure all vehicles and operations comply with safety regulations, traffic laws, and company guidelines.
• Work closely with the Fleet Manager on decisions related to vehicle purchases, replacements, and upgrades.
• Identify recurring mechanical issues and implement long-term solutions to improve fleet performance.
• Manage inventory of spare parts to ensure availability for both routine and urgent repairs.
• Support staff development by training and mentoring maintenance personnel on technical skills and safety practices.
• Generate reports on fleet condition, maintenance expenses, and downtime for management review.
