    This role gives you a direct entry into the pest control and hygiene services industry in Uganda. You start as a field based intern working closely with technical teams. You learn how pest control services are delivered, how clients are supported, and how problems are solved on site.

As you grow in the role, you move from service exposure into sales development. You begin identifying client needs, spotting risks in buildings, and recommending practical solutions. Within 6 to 12 months, you transition into a Sales Consultant role if you meet performance targets.

  1. Key Responsibilities
    You will support field technicians during pest control visits. You will observe how inspections are done and how treatment solutions are applied in real environments.

You will learn pest identification and understand how different infestations are managed. This helps you explain solutions clearly to clients.

You will interact with customers during service visits. You will build trust, answer basic questions, and maintain good client relationships.

You will conduct site inspections with guidance. You will identify possible pest risks in homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

You will convert service findings into sales opportunities. You will explain risks to clients and recommend appropriate pest control or hygiene services.

You will shadow senior sales consultants. You will learn how they prepare proposals, handle objections, and close deals.

You will prepare basic service quotes and protection plans as your skills improve.

You will manage a simple sales pipeline and track leads under supervision.

  1. Requirements and Qualifications
    You need a recent degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field. This gives you basic knowledge of business, customer service, or environmental systems.

You must show strong interest in sales and customer service. You should be willing to engage clients and understand their needs.

You need strong communication skills in English. Knowledge of Swahili is an advantage for wider client interaction.

You must be willing to work in the field. This includes visiting client sites and working in different environments.

A valid driving permit is an added advantage but not mandatory.

You should be able to work independently and also follow team instructions. You must be open to learning technical pest control processes.

Basic computer skills are required. You should be able to use MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
