- Job Overview
This role focuses on managing and growing corporate client relationships within the bank. You will work directly with business clients, understand their financial needs, and provide banking solutions that support their growth.
In real terms, you will bring in new corporate customers, manage existing ones, and ensure the bank grows its loans, deposits, and overall revenue. You will also structure financial deals, assess credit applications, and ensure clients receive fast and reliable banking support.
You will act as a key link between corporate clients and internal bank teams, ensuring smooth service delivery and strong business growth.
- Key Responsibilities
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients. Your goal is to attract new businesses and retain existing ones.
You will build and manage a sales pipeline. This includes tracking potential clients, following up on leads, and closing business opportunities across different banking products.
You will manage client portfolios. This involves reviewing accounts regularly, identifying opportunities to grow deposits, loans, and other financial services.
You will structure and negotiate financial deals. You will ensure that agreements benefit both the client and the bank while maintaining financial safety.
You will prepare credit proposals. You will work with internal teams to ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
You will monitor loan performance. You will identify early signs of repayment risk and take action to reduce non performing loans.
You will support revenue growth by promoting banking products such as loans, trade finance, and investment services.
You will maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and performance reports.
You will work with internal departments to improve service delivery and reduce turnaround time for client requests.
You will help strengthen the bank’s brand by ensuring clients receive high quality service and professional engagement.
- Requirements and Qualifications
You need a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
You must have at least 5 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in corporate banking, sales, or credit roles.
You must have strong sales management experience with proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
You need solid credit analysis skills and understanding of lending processes.
You should have strong numerical and analytical skills, including ability to interpret financial data.
You must be confident in using computer systems and banking software tools.
You need strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with senior business clients.
You must be a strategic thinker with strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Salary Range Estimate
Expected range, UGX 5,000,000 to UGX 12,000,000 per month.
This depends on experience, performance history, and portfolio size managed.
