About the Role

The Financial Advisor position at ICEA LION Uganda plays a critical role in empowering clients to secure their financial futures through tailored advice and comprehensive financial solutions. This role exists to bridge the gap between clients’ financial aspirations and the appropriate products that align with those goals. In the initial months, new advisors will engage with clients to conduct in-depth financial assessments, gaining firsthand experience in understanding diverse financial situations. They will collaborate closely with seasoned team members to develop their skills in financial planning and investment strategy, ensuring a solid foundation for their careers in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed meetings with clients to assess their financial status and identify their financial objectives for tailored advice.
• Develop and present customized financial plans that encompass insurance, pension, and investment options to meet clients’ specific needs.
• Monitor and manage client portfolios, making adjustments as necessary to ensure they remain aligned with clients’ evolving financial goals.
• Stay updated on market trends and product offerings to provide informed recommendations and insights to clients.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and financial plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
• Deliver informative presentations to clients, helping them understand the intricacies of financial products and the rationale behind investment choices.

• A diploma or degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is essential for understanding financial principles.
