Contract duration: 1 year

Description & Purpose:
The successful persons, after training and delegation of duties, will be responsible for handling of study drugs and pharmacy related documentation and administrative duties required for a research pharmacy.

Required qualifications and profile:
A degree in Pharmacy with at least 2 years’ working experience in a busy pharmaceutical setup. Research related experience and current GCP/HSP certification is highly desirable. We seek a motivated professional who is able and willing to learn quickly, has good organisational skills, able to multitask and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The holder of this position will work under the direct supervision of the Head of Pharmacy with guidance from the Clinic Division Director, and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Maintain professional GCP/HSP accreditation and complete study specific training as required.
  • Identify the drug requirements for the institution (study specific drug requirements, general drug requirements).
  • Adhere and enforce general and study specific internal drug policies and procedures.
  • Stock management (Forecast/ requisition/ stock/ verification/ assessment/ storage/dispense).
  • Maintenance of pharmacy/drug storage physical infrastructure.
  • Report to stakeholders on medicines usage/management and provide pharmacological information to the clinic team and patients/participants.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary study team to perform delegated duties and ensure timely communication and coordination.
  • Participate in any other related duties reasonably assigned by the relevant authorities.
