About the Role

The Senior Developer Relations, Twitter Brand Representative is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between the company and the developer community. This position is designed for an experienced professional who can leverage their existing presence on Twitter (X) to foster engagement, share valuable insights, and elevate the brand’s reputation within the tech ecosystem. In the initial months, you will focus on establishing a credible online presence while collaborating with various internal teams to align messaging and strategies. Your efforts will directly contribute to the company’s visibility and influence in conversations about emerging technologies and software development trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an engaging presence on Twitter (X) by actively posting, replying, and interacting with developers to represent the brand authentically.
• Create and distribute high-quality content that includes product announcements, technical insights, and practical tips to inform and engage the developer audience.
• Participate in discussions relevant to developers, contributing valuable insights that enhance brand awareness and foster community engagement.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and podcasts, both virtually and in-person, showcasing the brand’s commitment to the developer community.
• Gather feedback and insights from developers, effectively communicating their needs and suggestions to engineering and product teams for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams including New Media, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations to support product launches and ensure cohesive messaging.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior Developer Relations or Developer Advocacy role, demonstrating a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem.
• An established Twitter (X) presence with a significant and engaged following, showcasing credibility and influence within the developer community.
• Strong technical knowledge, combined with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging communications for technical audiences.
• Exceptional writing skills characterized by a unique personal voice that can produce insightful and relevant content consistently.
• Confidence and experience in representing an organization publicly across various platforms, including social media, podcasts, and industry events.
