About the Role

The Digital Asset Management Specialist at TransUnion plays a critical role in enhancing the management and optimization of digital assets across the organization. This position is integral to the Brand & Creative Team, focusing on establishing governance frameworks and improving asset utilization through effective organization. In your first few months, you will familiarize yourself with the DAM system, collaborate with various teams to understand their needs, and begin to implement strategies that drive efficient asset reuse while ensuring compliance with brand and legal standards. This role not only supports creative workflows but also enables the organization to leverage its digital assets for maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will oversee the administration and maintenance of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure optimal organization, accessibility, and peak performance of digital assets.
  • Your role will involve developing and enforcing metadata schemas, taxonomy, tagging procedures, and asset lifecycle policies to enhance asset discoverability.
  • Conducting regular audits will be essential to verify the accuracy, compliance, and relevance of all digital assets within the system.
  • As a key player, you will enforce governance standards and escalate any recurring issues to ensure that best practices are consistently followed throughout the organization.
  • You will engage in cross-functional collaboration by partnering with the Web Team to manage the deployment of assets in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, ensuring proper tagging and optimization for web use.
  • Your responsibilities will also include training team members on DAM best practices, facilitating efficient asset retrieval, and supporting creative teams in cataloging and managing assets effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing a Digital Asset Management system, with a strong preference for proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) within a creative or marketing context.
  • Demonstrable skills in metadata schema design, taxonomy development, and understanding of digital asset workflows are essential for success in this role.
  • You should have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, and web departments.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are vital for effectively managing assets and supporting team initiatives.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining compliance with brand and accessibility standards will be crucial in this role.
