Role Overview

This position involves providing technical, operational, and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of nutrition programs within the Country Programme. From planning and development to execution and evaluation, the role ensures effective implementation, monitoring, and reporting of program results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Programme Development and Planning
    Assist in designing and planning nutrition programs by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing relevant documentation.
  2. Programme Management and Monitoring
    Work closely with partners and teams to oversee program activities, track progress, ensure compliance, address challenges, and prepare reports.
  3. Technical and Operational Support
    Conduct field visits, guide partners, troubleshoot issues, and support the successful rollout of nutrition initiatives.
  4. Partnership Building and Networking
    Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, donors, and UN agencies. Support advocacy efforts and resource mobilization.
  5. Innovation and Capacity Building
    Promote knowledge sharing, apply innovative approaches, and contribute to training initiatives that strengthen program effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in nutrition, public health, program management, or related areas.
  • Skills: Program planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of an additional UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language.
  • Experience in stakeholder coordination, field monitoring, and analytical work.
  • Background working in development or humanitarian contexts.
