- Key Responsibilities
You will manage all shift operations in the plastic plant, ensuring machines run smoothly and production meets daily targets.
You will oversee processes such as blow moulding and preform production, ensuring products meet required quality standards.
You will prepare and enforce standard operating procedures for all machines to guide operators and reduce errors.
You will monitor machine settings, fix minor faults, and ensure production reports and material usage reports are prepared daily.
You will supervise plant workers, assign duties, and train staff to improve performance and safety awareness.
You will track raw material usage and work with stores to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
You will manage production budgets and identify ways to reduce costs without affecting quality.
You will ensure proper storage and movement of products within the plant to support continuous production.
You will work with suppliers to source raw materials at good prices and ensure timely delivery.
You will coordinate with maintenance teams to inspect and repair machines such as moulding machines, compressors, and chillers.
You will enforce safety rules and ensure all workers follow health and safety procedures.

You will analyze breakdowns and implement solutions to reduce machine downtime. - Requirements & Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required.
You should have experience in plastic manufacturing, beverage production, or industrial plant operations, preferably 3 to 5 years or more.
You need strong knowledge of plastic moulding processes such as injection moulding and blow moulding.
Experience managing teams in a factory setting is important since you will supervise workers and coordinate activities.
You should understand machine maintenance basics and be able to work with technical teams to solve problems.
Good planning, reporting, and communication skills are needed to manage production and report performance.
You must be comfortable working in a factory environment with machines and shift operations. - Salary Range Estimate
