About the Role
The Uganda National Accounts Relations Officer at KipajiHR is crucial for maintaining robust client relationships and ensuring the financial health of the organization. This position not only helps in managing client accounts but also plays a significant role in the company’s growth trajectory by addressing client needs and fostering trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive follow-ups with clients regarding outstanding instalment balances as per signed agreements.
- Engage clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings to encourage timely payments and minimize arrears.
- Monitor payment schedules to identify potential defaults and initiate early intervention strategies.
- Negotiate and document structured repayment plans for overdue accounts in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, commitments, and follow-up results.
- Provide clients with current account statements, payment schedules, and comprehensive explanations of outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with the Credit Control Officer to ensure recovery actions are in harmony with reconciled financial records.
- Coordinate with Sales and Legal Departments to ensure client payment obligations align with contractual agreements.
- Escalate unresolved arrears cases to management and assist in legal processes by providing complete account histories.
- Prepare regular reports for management concerning arrears status, recovery efforts, and collection performance.
- Uphold the company’s esteemed reputation by managing all collection activities with professionalism and sensitivity towards clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be a Ugandan National.
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Mid-level experience in account management, client relations, credit control, or similar roles (entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at understanding client needs and providing effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet targeted objectives.
