- Job Overview
This role places you at the center of community health and humanitarian support in Nyakabande. As a WASH Assistant, you work directly with refugees, host communities, and institutions to improve access to clean water, safe sanitation, and proper hygiene practices.

- Key Responsibilities

- Requirements and Qualifications
You need a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Water Engineering, Community Health, or a related field. This gives you the technical base for WASH work.
You must have at least 3 years of hands on experience in WASH or public health programs, preferably in refugee or humanitarian settings.
You should understand community based approaches like CLTS, CHAST, or PHAST. These help you influence behavior change.
You need strong communication skills to engage communities and explain health practices clearly.
You should be comfortable writing reports and using basic computer tools like Word and Excel.
You must work well in teams and handle field challenges calmly.
