In this role, you’ll manage the front desk with a smile, be the right-hand person to the Country Director, and keep the office running like a well-oiled machine. From maintaining office records to managing petty cash, your days will be packed with meaningful work that makes a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • **Office Management:** You'll be the first point of contact, handling inquiries and ensuring smooth communication flows.
  • **Assisting the Country Director:** Help organize and maintain the Director's schedule, making sure every meeting and appointment runs like clockwork.
  • **Records Management:** Keep both physical and electronic office records organized and confidential, ensuring everything is where it should be when it's needed.
  • **Logistics Support:** Take the lead on travel arrangements, event planning, and coordinating office activities.
  • **Petty Cash Management:** Manage the office's petty cash, keeping track of every expense down to the last shilling.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong organizational skills that keep everything in its place.
  • Clear and effective communication, both in writing and speaking.
  • Hands-on experience with office management software and tools.
  • The ability to stay professional and composed in a bustling office environment.
  • Experience in administrative roles, particularly front desk management.
  • A knack for managing petty cash and keeping financial records straight.

Education + Experience

  • Experience working in NGOs or similar environments is a big plus.
  • Understanding of logistical support and office management.
  • Familiarity with record-keeping and office administration tasks.
