About the Role

The Operations Coordinator position at the Peggy Ward Financial Education Center (PWFEC) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial wellness of students and community members in Kampala. This role is vital for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the center run smoothly, which directly impacts the effectiveness of financial education programs. In the first few months, you will engage with various stakeholders, manage schedules, and support event logistics, all while enhancing your operational skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

  • You will coordinate and manage the schedules for various programs and virtual events to ensure that all activities run seamlessly and are accessible to participants.
  • Maintaining accurate databases and records is crucial, as you will track participation and outcomes for financial education initiatives, providing insights for future improvements.
  • Responding to inquiries from students and community members will be a key part of your role, ensuring that all questions are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • You will prepare detailed reports that assess program performance and support data-driven decision-making within the center.
  • Organizing digital files and ensuring that all documentation is up to date will help streamline operations and enhance team collaboration.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills are required for tracking data and monitoring program performance to support effective process improvements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in operations management, particularly in coordinating schedules and events, will be critical to your success in this role.

  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, education, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
