We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our fast-paced team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
- East Africa Customs and Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate (EACFFPC) is mandatory
- Ability to work in a very fast paced company
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation Management
- Prepare, verify and manage all logistics and shipping documents accurately.
Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and transporters to ensure timely shipments.
Shipment Follow-Up
- Track and follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays.
Customs Compliance
- Ensure compliance with East Africa customs regulations and facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
Reporting & Communication
- Maintain logistics records, prepare reports and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
