About the Role
Joining the Six Flags Darien Lake team as a Ride Operator is an exciting opportunity to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at one of the premier amusement parks. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the thrilling atmosphere of the park, which boasts over 50 rides and attractions. In your first few months, you will engage in comprehensive training, learning how to operate rides safely while delivering excellent customer service. You will work closely with a team to create memorable experiences for park visitors, making it a perfect job for those who love engaging with people.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary task will be to test ride equipment daily before the park opens to ensure everything operates smoothly and safely.
You will enforce park policies and ride restrictions, ensuring guests understand safety measures before they board the rides.
As a Ride Operator, you will verify that all safety restraints and belts are securely fastened before any ride is set in motion.
Ensuring the safe operation of the rides, you will maintain orderly queue lines, promoting a positive experience for all guests.
Assisting with loading and unloading guests, including small children and individuals with disabilities, is a key part of your role.
Throughout your shift, you will monitor ride operation and guest interactions, promptly addressing any safety concerns or inquiries.
Requirements & Qualifications
