The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) is a government ministry of Uganda responsible for promoting gender equality, labour rights, social protection, social development, and the well-being of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. The Ministry develops and implements policies, programmes, and initiatives that support decent employment, workers’ rights, gender empowerment, community development, and social inclusion across Uganda.
