Business Development Officer (IT Solutions)
Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Officer to promote and sell the company’s IT solutions and services. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting company growth through effective sales and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Officer will:
- Promote and market a range of IT solutions, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, software, IT support, and hardware solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base
- Engage potential clients, present solutions, and understand their business needs
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions for clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities
- Participate in marketing campaigns, events, and exhibitions
- Prepare regular sales and marketing reports (weekly and monthly)
- Maintain an updated customer database and sales pipeline
- Achieve set sales and marketing targets
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Certification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT solutions sales or marketing
- Proven experience selling IT products or services is highly preferred
