About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Female Nurse to join our private clinic located in Namugoona, near Orthodox Hospital. This role is crucial as it involves providing essential healthcare services to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during visits to the drugshop. In your first few months, you will become familiar with our protocols, collaborate with a supportive team, and gain hands-on experience in patient care. You will also have the opportunity to develop your nursing skills in a dynamic environment that prioritizes patient health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
You will cover shifts every Tuesday and Saturday, providing consistent care and support to patients during their visits.
Your duties will include taking patient histories and vital signs to assess their health status accurately.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
Assisting in the management of pharmacy inventory, ensuring that all medications are stocked and properly labeled.
Providing education to patients and their families regarding medication management and health maintenance.
You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and share critical information regarding patient status.
Requirements & Qualifications
A valid nursing license issued in Uganda is required for this position.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with patients and their families.
Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation purposes is necessary.
Ability to work flexible hours, especially during weekends, and adapt to the fast-paced environment of a drugshop.
