About the Role

The Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst position at Sword Health is integral to enhancing the company’s commitment to regulatory excellence and building trust with partners and clients. As healthcare is rapidly evolving from human-driven to AI-driven solutions, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that Sword Health meets the highest standards of security and compliance. In your first few months, you will become familiar with the company’s AI Care platform, engage with various stakeholders, and take ownership of key certification processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative healthcare solutions while ensuring adherence to critical regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all inquiries related to security and compliance, addressing security questionnaires, RFPs, and M&A due diligence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of certifications such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, ensuring the organization remains audit-ready throughout the year.
  • Lead external audits independently, coordinating the certification process from initiation to completion and ensuring compliance with required standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the GRC team to enhance existing compliance programs, ensuring that security controls are effectively mapped to medical device quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base that supports efficient responses to partners and clients, contributing to the overall trust in Sword Health’s security posture.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in compliance processes, suggesting and implementing changes to align with evolving regulatory requirements and business needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Security, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles, preferably in the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR, with a proven track record of managing compliance initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear and actionable information for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments while maintaining compliance integrity.
