About the Role

The Movement Resources Ministry Team Member (Associate) position at Novo is a unique opportunity to engage in vocational ministry within a supportive and dynamic team. This role is essential as it helps foster spiritual growth and community engagement, aligning with Novo’s mission of empowering individuals and communities. In your first few months, you will immerse yourself in the organization’s core values, participate in training sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to understand the various facets of ministry work. Your personal spiritual journey will be a critical aspect of how you contribute to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will complete an initial application process that provides insight into your spiritual journey and motivations for pursuing this role, allowing the team to assess your fit within Novo.
  • Following the application, you will be invited to fill out a Life History Questionnaire, which captures how your experiences have shaped your readiness for ministry.
  • Your role will involve completing an APEST assessment, which evaluates your behavioral tendencies in relation to the FiveFold Ministry framework outlined in Ephesians 4.
  • You will undertake a GRIP assessment to identify your spiritual gifts, helping the team to understand how your unique abilities can best serve the ministry goals.
  • As a team member, you will participate in regular meetings and discussions, contributing insights from your assessments to enhance team collaboration and effectiveness.
  • You will also engage with other associates and ministry leaders to build a network of support, sharing best practices and experiences that align with Novo’s mission.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in vocational ministry and a commitment to spiritual growth are essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in ministry or related fields is advantageous, although not mandatory for entry-level associates.
  • You should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey your spiritual journey and collaborate with team members.
  • Familiarity with the FiveFold Ministry framework and spiritual gifts assessments will be beneficial, but training will be provided.
  • A willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute positively to the spiritual development of others is crucial.
