About the Role

The Human Resource Officer at Come Again Investments Limited plays a pivotal role in harmonizing the workforce with the organizational goals through effective human resource strategies. This position is crucial for fostering a productive work environment, where employees feel valued and supported. In your first few months, you will immerse yourself in the company’s culture, understand the existing HR policies, and engage with various departments to identify staffing needs. As the primary contact for employee relations, you will also address workplace issues, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires and assisting in their integration into the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will coordinate recruitment activities based on the approved manpower requirements by collaborating closely with department supervisors to identify staffing needs and vacancies.
  • This role entails preparing and updating job descriptions and specifications to reflect current organizational requirements and ensure clarity in recruitment processes.
  • Advertising vacancies through approved recruitment channels will be a key responsibility, increasing the visibility of job openings to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Screening applications, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews will be essential tasks to ensure that only the most suitable candidates are considered for positions.
  • In addition to participating in interviews, you will provide recruitment recommendations based on your assessments, contributing significantly to the hiring decisions.
  • You will act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, helping to resolve grievances and conflicts in a fair and timely manner, which is vital for maintaining employee morale.
  • Monitoring the performance appraisal process and ensuring timely completion will be part of your duties, supporting managers in setting employee objectives and KPIs will also be expected.
  • Conducting Training Needs Assessments (TNAs) alongside departmental supervisors to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities will be an important aspect of your role.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential to ensure you possess the foundational knowledge for this role.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a human resources role is typically expected, as it provides a solid understanding of HR practices and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations is crucial to ensure that all HR activities align with legal standards and company policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary to handle HR documentation and data management efficiently.
