About the Role

The HR Business Partner at Diageo plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s human resource strategies to align with its overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • This role requires active engagement in talent management, including the attraction and acquisition of key individuals to meet the strategic needs of the organization.
  • You will coordinate the talent and succession management process, ensuring that there is a robust pool of talent ready to meet current and future business challenges.
  • Overseeing the pre-boarding and onboarding processes for new recruits will be essential to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Regularly assess and enhance performance management systems to align employee objectives with the company’s strategic goals, thereby improving overall productivity.
  • Engage with employees to foster a positive work environment, addressing concerns and promoting initiatives that enhance employee relations and morale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that HR policies and practices are effectively implemented and adhered to, while also driving compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a corporate environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR practices.
  • Proven experience in talent management and organizational development, with a track record of implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence decision-making.
  • Experience with performance management systems and employee engagement strategies will be highly beneficial in this role.
