Key Responsibilities
You will manage a team of directly reporting staff, overseeing performance management processes to set clear goals that align with the country strategy and priorities.
Your role includes developing comprehensive core competency strategies that meet regional and global priorities while promoting effective workforce planning and recruitment.
As the Head of Programme, you will identify funding opportunities and develop strategic funding strategies and forecasts to ensure programme sustainability.
You will oversee grants management, ensuring compliance with donor standards and maintaining quality control, monitoring, and evaluation processes.
In-country representation will be a key aspect of your role, where you will advocate for the rights of internally displaced persons and returnees.
Your responsibilities extend to promoting accountability, enhancing monitoring and evaluation systems, and establishing feedback mechanisms to improve programme effectiveness.
Requirements & Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in programme management or a related field, with a focus on humanitarian or development contexts.
A relevant degree in social sciences, international development, or a related discipline is essential for this role.
Demonstrated experience in managing teams and leading performance management processes effectively.
Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and donor compliance requirements.
Proficiency in strategic planning, resource mobilization, and partnership development to drive programme success.
