Job Purpose

To support the administration and management of intellectual property dispute resolution processes through legal research, case management, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of dispute-related documentation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• • Receive, review, and process dispute resolution applications and pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare briefs on Intellectual property dispute matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of hearing files, notices, and procedural documents.
  • Maintain and update dispute resolution databases and case records.
  • Liaise with parties, advocates, and stakeholders regarding case management matters.
  • Assist in organizing hearings, mediation sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with procedural timelines.
  • Support implementation of dispute resolution policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors. 

Person Specifications

Academic Qualifications

• • Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice is an added advantage.
  • Training in Intellectual Property Law or Alternative Dispute Resolution is desirable.
