The Proposal Writing and Fundraising Trainee position at TechBuzz Hub is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and entrepreneurship. In the first few months, you’ll engage in hands-on training, collaborating with experienced professionals to refine your proposal writing and fundraising skills. As you navigate various projects, you’ll contribute to the development of sustainable solutions that combat startup failure, making a tangible impact within the Ugandan business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• You will manage the preparation of proposals, ensuring they meet the required standards and align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Your role will involve crafting technical documents and submissions for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), requiring a keen eye for detail and clarity.
• Regularly assess project needs and identify gaps, using your findings to inform the design and development of impactful programs.
• Collaborate with team members to create monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including logic models and theories of change, to gauge project effectiveness.
• Engage in extensive research to uncover potential business opportunities that align with TechBuzz Hub’s mission and goals.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas that could enhance the hub’s offerings and outreach.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A background in Business, Communications, or a related field is essential, with a focus on proposal management and writing skills.
• You should possess experience in technical writing and have familiarity with RFP submission processes.
• Strong communication skills are critical, as you will be articulating complex ideas succinctly.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and effective time management skills will be necessary to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality outputs.
