The office of the Bishop of PAG South Buganda Pastorate invites applications from suitably qualified mature born-again Christians aged (23 to 35 years) to serve in their Child and Youth Development Centers (Compassion assisted projects).
1. Job Title: Project Director (3 Vacancies)
The Project Director shall be the team leader of the project staff. He /she is expected to offer knowledge, guidance and technical skills to different stakeholders in areas of holistic child development, project planning and budgeting. He /she is to ensure that all programmatic financial and sponsor service aspects of the project are managed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications: Applicants for the position of Project Director should have a degree in any of the following areas: – BBA, SWASA, Community psychology, adult and community education, development studies, education or related humanities.
2. Job Title: Child Development Officer in charge of Sponsor and Donor Relations (3 Vacancies)
The Child Development Officer will ensure timeliness of quality child to sponsor correspondence, update information, documents and materials and will report to the Project Director. Should be a witness for Christ to children, keeps office and child development records, is responsible for child development programming, and carries out child home visits and follow-ups
3. Job Title: Child Development Officer Health (3 vacancies)
The Child Development Officer health will plan, coordinate and execute health programs for children and caregivers and will report to the Project Director, should be Christ’s witness to children and caregivers, Carry out home visitation and counseling for children and caregivers, responsible for physical health development programming and monitoring.
Qualifications for Health Officers: For Health officers, a Degree/Diploma in social work, Nursing, community health, clinical practice or counseling; experience is preferred. NB: Every applicant must have computer skills.
Duty Station: The projects shall be located in PAG
Churches: Kalangala Pentecostal Church, Senero Pentecostal Church and Bwendero Pentecostal Church all in Buggala Island in Kalanagal District.
