About the Role
The Credit Controller role at MTN Group is a vital position within the finance department, focusing on managing customer credit accounts and ensuring timely collections of outstanding debts. Key Responsibilities
- You will assess the creditworthiness of both new and existing customers, providing recommendations on credit limits and terms based on company policies.

- Following up on overdue payments will be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you manage collections to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.

Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required to ensure you have a solid foundation in financial principles.
- Possession of a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA will be advantageous and demonstrate your commitment to the field.
- You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable, preferably within the telecommunications or financial services sector.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and proficiency in MS Excel for financial reporting and analysis are essential skills for this role.
- A strong understanding of credit control processes and techniques will be necessary to navigate the complexities of customer accounts efficiently.
