About the Role

The Leader for Premium Remote Work + Travel Community at WiFi Tribe is a unique opportunity for those passionate about community building and adventure. In this role, you will be traveling alongside a group of remote professionals, facilitating a vibrant community while working in various locations around the globe. This position exists to enhance member experiences by fostering connections among individuals who share a love for travel and remote work. Your first few months will involve setting the tone for these experiences, building relationships, and ensuring that every member feels a sense of belonging and purpose within the tribe.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for leading a group of 15-25 remote professionals, ensuring that the community thrives both socially and professionally.
  • Your role includes organizing logistics for each new destination, from accommodation to workspace setup, allowing the group to focus on their work and connections.
  • As a community leader, you will foster an inclusive atmosphere, encouraging members to share their experiences, ideas, and skills with one another.
  • You will coordinate various team-building activities and adventures on weekends, enhancing the bonds between members and encouraging a sense of camaraderie.
  • Regularly collecting feedback from members will be essential, as you will use their insights to continuously improve the community experience.
  • Acting as a mentor and support system, you will help members navigate challenges in their remote work and personal journeys, ensuring they feel valued and understood.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A strong background in community engagement or leadership, with at least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Exceptional people skills, with a natural ability to connect with diverse individuals and foster a welcoming environment.
  • A passion for travel and remote work, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various cultural settings.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple logistics and details to ensure smooth transitions between locations.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and team dynamics to effectively address any challenges that may arise within the group.
