Key Responsibilities

• You will translate documents from English to Croatian, ensuring that the original meaning, tone, and context are preserved.
• Your role will involve checking and editing translations to enhance clarity and accuracy, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Engaging in MT post-editing (MTPE) will be a critical responsibility, where you will refine machine-generated translations to meet professional expectations.
• Managing a monthly workload of 5,000 to 30,000 words, you must prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• You will collaborate with project managers and clients to understand specific requirements and context for each project, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Using CAT tools will be essential for optimizing your workflow, and you will be expected to stay updated on the latest software and translation practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A strong command of both English and Croatian is essential, with proven experience in translation across various fields.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and marketing language is highly desirable to effectively handle subject-specific content.
• Experience with CAT tools is required, as these will be necessary for maintaining consistency and efficiency in your work.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality translations on time are critical for success in this role.
