In your initial months, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and gain insights into various operational processes while developing your skills in team management and logistics. Key Responsibilities
You will assist in coordinating daily operations, ensuring that all business functions are running smoothly and efficiently under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Your role includes providing support to the Operations Manager in leading a team, which involves offering training, mentorship, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
You will be responsible for managing the fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are well-maintained, safe, and presentable for business use.
Timely staff attendance is critical, and you will monitor attendance records, reporting any discrepancies to the Operations Manager for timely resolution.
Ensuring that all client orders are delivered punctually is a key part of your role, and you will report any issues regarding deliveries directly to the Operations Manager.
You will play a proactive role in inventory management, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and assisting in the procurement process when necessary.
In addition to managing daily operations, you will help establish new processes where standard operating procedures do not exist, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Participating in weekly staff meetings is essential to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement in processes and service delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required to meet the academic qualifications for this role.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar operational support or administrative role, showcasing relevant industry knowledge.
