About the Role
As a Remote Virtual Call Center Representative at Wasoko, you will play a vital role in supporting small retail partners across Africa by providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels. This position is essential as it ensures that our retail partners can efficiently navigate our platform, ultimately leading to improved business outcomes for them. In the first few months, you will immerse yourself in our services, learn about our app functionalities, and develop key relationships with our partners while receiving comprehensive training on our systems and protocols. The role allows for a flexible work environment, enabling you to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life while being an integral part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- You will manage inbound and outbound communications, including calls, emails, and chats, ensuring that every interaction with our retail partners is handled with professionalism and care.
- Your role will involve assisting partners in placing and tracking their orders, guiding them through our services, and informing them about ongoing promotions to enhance their experience with Wasoko.
- Diagnosing and resolving customer issues related to the Wasoko app, deliveries, and payment processing will be a critical part of your daily tasks, requiring both technical and customer service skills.
- In instances where issues cannot be resolved immediately, you will escalate these concerns to the relevant internal teams, ensuring that follow-up actions are taken to achieve timely resolutions.
- You will maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions within our CRM system, which is essential for tracking partner needs and improving service delivery.
- Proactively informing customers about service updates, potential delays, and new app features will be part of your responsibilities, helping to build trust and transparency with our partners.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or remote support environment, is essential for this position.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are required, along with a friendly and approachable demeanor to engage effectively with partners.
- You should possess strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs, ensuring that all interactions are positive and productive.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other communication tools is preferred, as these will be integral to your daily tasks and responsibilities.
