About the Role

We are excited to welcome passionate Sales Persons to join FAKULIN AGRICULTURE LTD in Kampala. This vital role supports our mission of enhancing agricultural practices and ensuring the accessibility of quality products to farmers and businesses in the region. As a Sales Person, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement strategy, helping to establish and maintain relationships with clients. In the first few months, you will receive comprehensive training on our product offerings and sales techniques, allowing you to confidently represent our brand and contribute to our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will actively engage with potential customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that highlight our agricultural products.
  • Your role will involve conducting market research to identify new sales opportunities and monitor competitor activities in the agricultural sector.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system to ensure effective follow-up and reporting.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients will be crucial, as you will provide ongoing support and address any inquiries they may have.
  • Participating in trade shows and agricultural fairs will be part of your job, where you will represent the company and showcase our innovative products to a broader audience.
  • You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive sales growth.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of a diploma in business, marketing, or a related field is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred for more advanced roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector or a similar industry.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, to effectively convey product benefits and build trust with clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary to manage customer information and sales data effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets.
