Tour & Operations Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Tour & Operations Manager to lead our FIT (Foreign Independent Tours) Operations team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day management of tours. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive destination knowledge, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering unforgettable client experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in tour operations.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of tourism products in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda.
- Proven expertise in FIT itinerary planning, quotations, reservations, and operations management.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in tour management and reservation systems.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Swahili is an added advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage operational budgets and supplier relationships.
