About the Role

This position calls for a dynamic and results-driven sales professional who excels in software solutions. As a Key Account Manager, you will play an essential role in expanding LexisNexis’ innovative offerings in Uganda, driving growth and enhancing customer experiences through advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve annual financial performance targets through strategic sales initiatives.
• Implement and oversee customer retention strategies to foster long-term relationships.
• Proactively create and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Maintain meticulous management of the sales pipeline to ensure efficiency.
• Lead negotiations and deal structuring to close sales effectively.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company goals.
• Simultaneously manage multiple sales opportunities with a focus on performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology sales, particularly in software solutions.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for client visits.
• Proven experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance sales efficiency and success.
• Familiarity with AI sales platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Salesforce, Gong, and Seismic (or similar).
• Demonstrated success in a quota-bearing sales role with a consistent record of achieving targets.
• Strong consultative selling skills, with proficiency in both face-to-face and digital interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving sales environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
