About the Role
As an E-commerce Account Manager at Assist World, you will play a pivotal role in supporting fast-growing e-commerce brands, particularly those utilizing Shopify. This position is crucial for enhancing client satisfaction and ensuring that brands can scale their operations efficiently. Over the first few months, you will immerse yourself in understanding each client’s unique needs, facilitating the onboarding process, and managing their Shopify stores. You’ll leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional account management while fostering long-lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- You will oversee a diverse portfolio of e-commerce clients, focusing on nurturing relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Your role will involve leading the onboarding process for new clients, including the complete setup of their Shopify stores to ensure a seamless transition.
- It will be your responsibility to configure Shopify stores, which includes setting up products, collections, navigation, shipping options, tax regulations, and payment gateways.
- You will coordinate with various internal teams and external partners to guarantee that all projects are executed successfully and meet client expectations.
- Providing strategic advice and insights on Shopify best practices will be essential to help clients maximize their store’s performance.
- In addition to troubleshooting any issues that arise, you will be expected to recommend practical solutions quickly and efficiently.
- You will actively monitor account performance metrics and identify areas for growth and optimization to enhance client success.
- Regular updates and clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle will be a key component of your responsibilities.

Requirements & Qualifications
- You should have previous experience as an Account Manager, Client Success Manager, or Project Manager specifically within an e-commerce setting.
- Hands-on experience with setting up and configuring Shopify stores from the ground up is essential for this role.
- A strong understanding of Shopify themes, apps, and various store settings will be vital to your success.
- You must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining high standards of service.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills are required to navigate the diverse needs of e-commerce clients effectively.
- Your verbal and written communication skills in English should be outstanding, enabling you to build trusted relationships with clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills along with meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in addressing client needs.
