About the Role
The Junior Reference Data Specialist position at Tieto offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic Telecom Team, working closely with BICS, a leading global telecommunications enabler. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of reference data across multiple applications, contributing to the effective functioning of telecom services. In your initial months, you will engage in hands-on tasks, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain insights into a diverse portfolio of telecom products such as Voice, LTE, and IoT. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for maintaining reference data across various applications, ensuring that information is accurate and readily accessible for internal stakeholders.
- Your role will involve requesting clarification and following up to resolve any discrepancies in data, thereby maintaining high standards of data quality.
- Providing internal customer support will be a key part of your duties, where you will assist team members and other departments with data-related inquiries.
- You will regularly communicate updates and implemented changes to your team and supervisors, fostering transparency and collaboration.
- Your focus will include the upload of supplier offers and the maintenance of the International Numbering Plan to support global telecom operations.
- Participation in small projects and testing will allow you to contribute to innovative solutions and enhance your problem-solving skills.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT, Systems, or Operations is expected, providing a solid foundation for this role.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential to ensure effective communication with international teams and customers.
- Proficiency in Office applications is required, as you will utilize these tools for data management and reporting tasks.
