About the Role

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder at Startup Wise Guys (SWG), you will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling a B2B startup, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills. This position is designed for innovative thinkers who are eager to turn their ideas into viable businesses while collaborating with a network of like-minded entrepreneurs. In the first few months, you will engage with other co-founders, refine your startup concept, and begin to build a robust team that aligns with your vision. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping the startup’s culture and strategic direction, all while participating in a program that boasts a high success rate for its graduates.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be tasked with developing a compelling startup concept that clearly defines the product or service offering, ensuring it meets market needs.
• As a co-founder, you will lead the team-building process, fostering a positive company culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Defining and executing strategic plans will be essential, as you work to establish a solid foundation for your startup’s operations.
• You will actively engage in securing investment rounds, articulating the vision and potential of your startup to attract funding.
• Collaborating with mentors and industry experts, you will gain insights that will help you refine your business model and strategies.
• Throughout the program, you will prepare for a final pitch to SWG, where you will have the opportunity to secure funding and further propel your startup.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of solid experience is required, ideally within fast-growing or scale-up companies.
• You should possess relevant leadership experience, particularly in product development, strategy, or operational roles, such as CTO or COO.
• A strong desire to launch a scalable B2B startup is essential, with a preference for backgrounds in SaaS, XR, Sustainability, Fintech, or Cybersecurity.
• An MSc or MBA in business administration or a related field is required to ensure a strong foundation in business principles.
• Participants must understand the cost structure, including a €500 fee for individuals or €750 for teams, along with a €1000 commitment deposit.
