About the Role

The Regulatory Manager at Gowan Company plays a critical role in overseeing the regulatory landscape for a diverse portfolio of agricultural products. In the first few months, you will engage with cross-functional teams to understand existing processes, establish relationships with regulatory authorities, and manage the submission of high-quality regulatory documents. Key Responsibilities

  • You will manage regulatory activities for a range of active ingredients and end-use products, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Your role involves implementing product registration strategies that align with the company’s strategic business plans and respond to market needs.
  • Collaboration with Asset leads, Development, and Marketing teams is essential to meet product expectations and regulatory requirements effectively.
  • You will oversee the portfolio budget and provide monthly updates to Regulatory Asset leads to facilitate accurate forecasting.
  • Working closely with country-specific regulatory managers, you will ensure that all submissions adhere to the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • As the primary liaison for technical regulatory matters, you will communicate vital regulatory information across the organization and help teams understand its commercial implications.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a regulatory role within the plant protection industry is essential.
  • A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or a related scientific field is preferred to support your understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • You must have a solid understanding of regional and national registration policies and procedures relevant to agricultural products.
  • Proven experience in effectively communicating technical information, both in writing and orally, is crucial for this role.
