  • Contribute to holistic wellbeing programs that include sports, arts, and counselling, fostering the emotional and mental health of the boys.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at family reunification, helping to connect boys with their families and advocating for their rights.
  • Support the organization of various programs and events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively cater to the needs of the children.
  • Utilize your unique skills in teaching, sports, arts, or community development to provide engaging and impactful sessions for the boys.
  • Document progress and activities, helping to create reports that showcase the impact of our programs and contribute to future planning.

  • Flexibility and cultural sensitivity are critical, as volunteers will be working in a community-based setting with diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong English communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with children and local staff.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience working with vulnerable populations, which will enhance your practical skills in social work and child development.
  • An opportunity to immerse yourself in Ugandan culture, gaining a deeper understanding of local customs and community dynamics.
