The Operations Manager – Broilers at Biyinzika Poultry Uganda Limited plays a crucial role in overseeing the broiler operations sector of the company, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
You will strategically direct and manage the entire operations of the broiler division, ensuring alignment with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.
Your role includes planning, organizing, and executing various broiler business activities, ensuring that all operations meet set KPIs and align with the strategic plan.
Reviewing and revising operational protocols within the broiler division will be critical, as you develop data-driven approaches to enhance operational efficiency.
It will be your responsibility to identify training and mentoring needs for staff, facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development to boost overall performance.
You will be tasked with developing regular reports that provide insights into broiler operations, supporting the agriculture director in making informed decisions.

Engaging with contract growers to monitor their performance and training will also be key, ensuring adherence to BPUL standards and practices.

Requirements & Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field is essential for this position, providing the foundational knowledge needed for the role.
You should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior management role, ideally within the poultry farming sector.
Demonstrated integrity and honesty are crucial, as this role involves significant responsibility and trust.
