Clariti Cloud Inc. is on the lookout for a talented Product Designer to join their innovative design team on a full-time contract basis until the end of 2026. This pivotal role is tailored for designers who thrive in complexity and are eager to contribute to an AI-native product development environment. You will not only engage in traditional design tasks but also collaborate closely with a Senior Product Designer to influence how AI-assisted design shapes user experiences. During your first few months, you will immerse yourself in the intricacies of user workflows, contribute to design systems, and engage in hands-on design work, all while ensuring that the user experience is seamless and accessible for local government personnel.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage the entire design process, from mapping user flows to creating high-fidelity screens and interactive prototypes that translate complex functionalities into user-friendly designs.
Utilizing a hybrid workflow with Figma and Claude, you will produce production-ready UX/UI designs and clickable HTML prototypes for demonstration and user validation.
Your designs will cater to municipal government staff and public applicants, addressing the complexities of multi-role workflows and ensuring real-world applicability.
You will stay abreast of emerging design patterns, particularly those influenced by AI, applying new insights with purpose rather than for mere novelty.
Conducting user research will be a key part of your role; you will lead interviews and usability tests, leveraging AI tools to enhance the efficiency of insight gathering.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, you will ensure that design intent is preserved during implementation and that concepts are validated early to mitigate delivery risks.
Requirements & Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of product design experience, proven through a portfolio that showcases strong user experience (UX) thinking and high-quality visual execution.
Demonstrated proficiency with design tools such as Figma and familiarity with AI-driven design methodologies.
Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, with a focus on translating insights into actionable design decisions.
Strong collaboration skills to effectively work alongside product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication abilities, allowing you to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
