About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• You will oversee the general ledger, ensuring that all daily accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely to maintain financial integrity.
• Your responsibilities will include performing month-end and year-end closing activities, which are essential for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Preparing journal entries and conducting thorough account reconciliations will be a routine part of your role, reinforcing the accuracy of financial data.
• You will assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, providing insights that guide strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and company policies will be a priority, safeguarding the organization against potential financial risks.
• Support during internal and external audits will be expected, where you will provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required to ensure a solid foundation in financial principles.
• Candidates should possess between 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in general accounting, demonstrating a strong grasp of financial operations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting principles is essential, allowing you to ensure accurate and compliant financial documentation.
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo is preferred, providing familiarity with industry-standard tools.
• A strong command of the English language is necessary for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
