The Software Engineer position at Oyster is a pivotal role in shaping how our global employment platform operates, particularly through the development and maintenance of Ruby on Rails APIs. Key Responsibilities

• You will take charge of defining internal API use cases, collaborating with stakeholders to map their workflows, and breaking down tasks into manageable increments for efficient execution.
• Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, testing, reviewing, and releasing production Rails APIs while adhering to established architecture and security practices.
• It will be your responsibility to ensure that the code you write is secure and well-structured, paying special attention to authentication, authorization, and the handling of sensitive data.
