About the Role
The position of Estimator / Tender Coordinator at PeoplePartners is essential for ensuring that construction projects are set up for success from the outset. This role exists to streamline the tendering process and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. In your first few months, you will engage with estimators and project managers, helping to organize and oversee vital project details while honing your skills in project coordination. Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for coordinating tender submissions and ensuring that all project documentation is well-organized and accessible for team members.
- Your role will involve maintaining comprehensive project registers and document control systems to track the progress and status of ongoing projects.
- Supporting contract administration will be crucial, as you will handle requests for information (RFIs), variations, work orders, and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Assisting with tender pricing and conducting cost analysis will allow you to gain insights into the financial aspects of project management.
- You will coordinate the collection and management of subcontractor documentation and compliance requirements to ensure all parties are aligned and informed.
- Your support in budget tracking and project forecasting will be vital in helping project managers make informed decisions and adjustments as needed.
- Preparing operations, maintenance, and warranty documentation will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all necessary information is available for project handover.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in roles related to tender coordination, contract administration, estimating support, project coordination, or quantity surveying.
- Experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is essential, as it will provide you with the relevant context and understanding necessary for this role.
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is required, enabling you to manage data and documentation effectively.
- Candidates should have experience in maintaining project registers and live project documentation, showcasing their ability to keep organized records.
- Knowledge of job costing, budgeting, or project forecasting will be beneficial, as these skills will play a pivotal role in your day-to-day tasks.
- Experience in coordinating subcontractor documentation and construction-related paperwork will be necessary to ensure compliance with industry standards.
