About the Role
The Warehouse Management and Inventory Management Specialist position at Marathon TS is a pivotal role that focuses on optimizing warehouse operations and inventory tracking within remote environments. This position is essential for ensuring that vehicle maintenance systems and fleet management workflows run smoothly and efficiently, directly impacting the effectiveness of supply chains. In your first few months, you will dive deep into understanding existing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing technical stories that accurately reflect fleet operations requirements. Expect to engage in meaningful discussions with both business and technical teams to drive impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate fleet operations requirements into well-defined technical stories and criteria that guide development efforts.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of Inventory Management Systems, ensuring effective parts management and cost tracking.
- Utilize strong SQL skills to validate data integrity, build test scenarios, and support thorough defect analysis across various applications.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and customer acceptance testing (CAT) sessions by developing scenarios, coordinating with users, and tracking defects.
- Lead discussions across multiple teams including business, developers, and QA to ensure clarity in requirements and promote effective communication.
- Create comprehensive process documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support ongoing warehouse management efforts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or inventory management roles in a technical environment.
- Proven experience with Inventory Management Systems and a deep understanding of fleet management workflows is essential.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly with SQL, for data validation and defect analysis in complex systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including experience in backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
