About the Role

The Union for Africa Child Foundation is dedicated to uplifting vulnerable children and families in Uganda by providing essential support services. The role of “Save the Needy” is crucial as it aims to address the immediate needs of children suffering from food insecurity and lack of educational resources. In the initial months, you will engage directly with community members to assess their needs and implement effective support strategies. This position is not just about delivering aid; it’s about fostering relationships that empower families to achieve self-sufficiency and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will conduct needs assessments in the community to identify the specific challenges faced by children and their families.
  • Your role involves coordinating with local schools to establish support programs that enhance educational opportunities for children.
  • Engaging with local stakeholders and potential partners will be essential to mobilize resources for food and educational supplies.
