As a key member of the team, you will advise clients on diverse travel destinations while crafting personalized itineraries that meet their unique preferences. In the first few months, you will immerse yourself in understanding the company’s offerings, develop relationships with clients, and become adept at managing travel arrangements. This role emphasizes creativity and attention to detail, ensuring that every travel experience is safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

• You will provide expert advice to clients on various travel options, helping them select the best destinations and experiences tailored to their interests and budget.
• Creating customized travel itineraries will be a significant part of your role, which includes planning flights, accommodations, and activities in line with client preferences.
• Your daily tasks will involve coordinating reservations and travel arrangements, ensuring that all bookings are confirmed and travel documents are accurately prepared.
• Responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally will be essential to providing excellent customer service and maintaining client satisfaction.
• You will promote the company’s diverse offerings, including adventure, cultural, and wildlife experiences, to potential travelers and clients.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, supplier offerings, and destination highlights will be necessary to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A strong background in Travel Consulting and Travel Management is essential, showcasing your ability to design comprehensive itineraries for various African destinations.
• Practical experience in making Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including booking flights and accommodations, is required to effectively manage client needs.
• Excellent Customer Service skills are necessary, with a focus on clear and effective communication to resolve issues and provide support to clients.
• Good organizational and time-management skills are required, ensuring that you can handle multiple client requests efficiently and accurately.
• Proficiency with travel booking systems and standard office software is expected; familiarity with GDS or online booking platforms will be an advantage.
• A minimum of a diploma or degree in Tourism, Travel Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge in the industry.
