Key Responsibilities
Attend safety briefings to discuss incidents and identify risks, ensuring a proactive approach to workplace safety.
Review digital brew sheets from the previous shift to stay informed about process data and equipment statuses.
Conduct thorough cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of equipment to maintain optimal functionality and hygiene standards.
Monitor fermentation vessel parameters such as temperature and yeast activity, and perform necessary analyses to ensure product quality.
Execute Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) procedures for tanks and pipelines, ensuring cleanliness and operational efficiency during downtime.
Quickly respond to alarms or deviations in the brewing process and escalate unresolved issues to relevant teams for prompt resolution.
Requirements & Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Food Science, Brewing Technology, or a related field is preferred to provide a foundational understanding of brewing processes.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or brewing environment will be advantageous, ideally with exposure to operational procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
