The position of Longevity Physician at Lifeforce plays a crucial role in transforming healthcare from a reactive to a proactive approach, focusing on longevity and wellness. Key Responsibilities
- You will utilize advanced diagnostic test interpretations to provide tailored lifestyle recommendations that promote overall health and longevity.
- Your role will include administering Hormone Optimization Therapy (HOT) and managing weight loss programs, ensuring that each treatment is aligned with the latest medical standards.
- A deep understanding of proprietary supplements will be essential, enabling you to confidently explain their benefits and recommend them to our members when appropriate.
- You will need to balance efficiency with thoroughness, successfully managing synchronous visits and asynchronous tasks without compromising the quality of care provided.
- Embracing and adapting to evolving technologies is vital, as you will need to deliver care effectively while maintaining clear communication with members and colleagues.
- Strong communication skills are essential, as you will continuously refine these abilities to enhance member outcomes and ensure a supportive healthcare experience.
- Your focus will always be on the member’s experience, prioritizing their outcomes while adhering to Lifeforce-approved medical protocols.
- Additionally, you will provide necessary supervision to NP/PA clinicians, ensuring compliance with state regulations and fostering a collaborative care environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- An MD or DO degree is required, along with a current medical license to practice medicine.
- Experience in functional medicine, preventive care, or longevity medicine will be highly beneficial.
- Strong interest and knowledge in hormone optimization and metabolic health are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be necessary to effectively engage with members and convey complex medical information clearly.
- Proficiency with medical technologies and electronic health records is expected, as these tools will be integral to your daily responsibilities.
